Volunteer with us
Unique opportunities to work with this ground breaking project.
Pond at Rewilding Coombeshead
Volunteering at Rewilding Coombeshead can take many forms, from tree planting to wildflower seed collection, to leading tours, conducting biological surveys, or many other practical tasks.
On occasion we may also take residential volunteers to assist with animal husbandry or with the tasks outlined above.
We currently have a list of volunteers that we can call upon when tasks arise, but we are working towards a more regular volunteering regime.
We can also work with businesses to provide volunteer days, which can be extremely helpful to us while providing an entertaining and fulfilling day out for your employees.
If you are interested in any of our volunteering opportunities please get in touch.

Tree planting
Join us to plant 250 Alder and Poplar and 600 willow trees, to sit alongside the Black Poplar planted last year. We are replanting the riparian edge of this lovely wet meadow site as it runs along the river Carey. The site was acquired by The Green Britain Foundation and is managed for nature conservation by the team at Rewilding Coombeshead.
