Coombeshead rewilding is just 8 miles from the town of Launceston with its ancient castle, or 11 miles from the historic market town of Tavistock and the beautiful Tamar valley. Dartmoor in all its glory is visible from or accommodation sites and is just 9 miles away.  If you want to access the famous surfing on the north coast of Cornwall, Widemouth bay is just 35 minutes away where boards are available for hire. Other adventure activities such as mountain biking, horse riding and kayaking are all available locally.
